Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Design, implement, and maintain system infrastructure including servers, networks, storage, and virtualization platforms.
∎ Manage and administer Windows and Linux servers, including installation, configuration, patching, and troubleshooting.
∎ Monitor system performance and capacity, and implement necessary upgrades or optimizations to meet business requirements.
∎ Ensure system security by implementing best practices, firewalls, access controls, and encryption technologies.
∎ Install, configure, and maintain Microsoft Exchange Server infrastructure, including mailbox servers, client access servers, and edge transport servers.
∎ Manage and monitor virtual machines, resource pools, clusters, and data stores. Perform capacity planning, resource optimization, and troubleshooting as needed.
∎ Monitor Exchange Server performance, resource utilization, and system health. Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as applying software updates, patches, and service packs.
∎ Implement security measures to protect Exchange Server environments from threats such as malware, phishing attacks, and unauthorized access.
∎ Enforce security policies and compliance requirements.
∎ Provide technical support and troubleshooting for system-related issues, including hardware and software failures.
∎ Design, develop, and execute automation scripts. Set clear goals and expectations for team members and ensure alignment with departmental objectives.
