The applicant should have the following educational qualifications, skills and knowledge:
Minimum SSC pass; ability to read and write Bangla and read English is required.
• Prior experience in office support, cleaning, messenger, or helper work will be an advantage.
• Honest, punctual, and willing to work as part of a team.
• Physically fit to move materials and support office and field activities.
• Willingness to follow instructions from supervisors.
• Respectful behavior with staff, visitors, and community members.
• Basic understanding of mobile phone use for communication.
Authorities: The Support Staff will work under the direct supervision of the Finance and Admin Officer and follow instructions given by the project management and DASCOH Foundation.
Key Relationship:
The Support Staff will work closely with the District Manager, Finance and Admin Officer, Monitoring Officer, Upazila Coordinators, and other project staff to support daily office work, communication, and project activities.
Introduction
DASCOH Foundation is a non-government and non-profitable organization. Utilizing local knowledge of the people at grass root and available resources at local level, DASCOH has put forward an alternative participatory development process. It has developed a professional workforce with flexible decision-making capacity. DASCOH is using supportive supervision & coaching method to develop human capital and thus helping to develop the capacity of local government institutions, which is reflected in the project planning and management with local government, private sector, donors and the community. Currently, it operates several projects, covering the thematic areas of health, climate adaptation, human rights, quality education, livelihood improvement, etc. mainly covering Rajshahi division but all over the country. Several projects are ongoing in the thematic areas and information technology support are required for innovation, monitoring, analysis and showcasing good practices and achievements. Meeting Targets and Maintaining Epidemic Control (EpiC) project is a global project funded by the U.S. Department of State and the US President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR), that provides strategic technical assistance and direct service delivery to strengthen Global Health Security (GHS), including outbreak response; improve maternal and child health (MCH), and promote health systems strengthening (HSS) including supply chain management. EpiC is led by FHI 360 with it’s implementation partners including DASCOH working in seven districts of Bangladesh. Under the EpiC project, DASCOH will be implementing interventions to strengthen global health security, outbreak preparedness, MNCHN service continuity, and community engagement in Natore and Naogaon districts.
Purpose of the position
DASCOH is application from qualified individual for the role Support Staff who will help the project team by providing day-to-day office, administrative, and logistics support at the district office so that project activities can be implemented smoothly and on time.
Objective of the mandate:
The objectives of the project execution mandate are:
• Support daily office work and field activities of the project team.
• Help with logistics, communication, and basic administrative tasks.
• Ensure the district project office remains clean, organized, and functional.
• Assist staff during meetings, trainings, and field activities.
Function:
In more concrete terms the mandate includes;
• Help with opening and closing the office and keeping the office clean and organized.
• Support office work such as photocopying, printing, filing, and keeping documents safely.
• Assist in arranging meetings, trainings, and workshops (setting chairs, arranging materials, serving water/tea if required).
• Support movement of documents, letters, and materials between office, upazila offices, and other locations.
• Assist in receiving, storing, and distributing office and project materials.
• Help project staff during field visits and activity days when required.
• Support basic communication tasks such as making phone calls and delivering messages.
• Take care of office equipment and report any damage or problems.
• Follow office rules, work instructions, and safeguarding guidelines.
Output:
• District project office runs smoothly on a daily basis.
• Office files, documents, and materials are kept properly and safely.
• Meetings, trainings, and project activities are supported on time.
• Project staff receive timely administrative and logistics support.
• Office equipment and supplies are properly handled and maintained.
• Clean, safe, and supportive working environment is maintained.

Compensation
Mobile bill, Tour allowance, and 2 weekly holidays.
2.25 festival bonus
Working Condition: Support staff will work in Natore or Naogoan district office.
Working Time: Sunday to Thursday; 40 hours in a week; (08:30 am to 05:00 pm with half an hour lunch and prayer break)
Duration of the mandate: 8 months
