Core Responsibilities of a Workshop Supervisor

• Operational Management:

  • Oversee daily workshop activities and ensure adherence to safety regulations and quality standards.

  • Plan, prioritize, and schedule maintenance, repairs, and technical work to maximize efficiency.

  • Ensure proper maintenance of machinery, tools, and equipment.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including proper housekeeping.

• Staff Supervision and Leadership:

  • Assign tasks and manage personnel (technicians, mechanics) to meet production targets.

  • Provide training, mentorship, and on-the-job coaching for safe machine operation.

  • Conduct employee feedback, performance evaluations, and address staff issues.

• Safety and Compliance (QHSE):

  • Implement and enforce Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) policies.

  • Conduct tool box talks, ensure proper PPE usage, and report safety breaches.

  • Manage risk by ensuring safe工作 procedures are followed to avoid delays.

• Resource and Administrative Management:

  • Manage inventory, tools, and consumables to minimize waste.

  • Manage procurement of parts and liaise with suppliers.

  • Keep accurate records, reports, and documentation of work.

• Technical Support:

  • Provide technical advice and ensure correct handling of materials.

  • Perform troubleshooting and quality checks on completed work.
