Responsibilities & Context:
Key Responsibilities & Duties
Operational Leadership: Supervise and coordinate maintenance personnel, allocating tasks, and organizing shift rotas to meet service requirements.
Workflow Management: Plan, schedule, and prioritize preventative and corrective maintenance to ensure maximum equipment availability.
Technical Oversight: Review inspection records, diagnose complex problems, and oversee the quality of repairs, ensuring no work is done without a job card.
Safety & Compliance: Ensure all workshop activities adhere to Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) policies, environmental regulations, and company procedures.
Resource Management: Manage inventory, including tracking spare parts, tools, and consumables to minimize downtime.
Team Development: Provide on-the-job training, coaching, and mentoring to technicians and apprentices.
Reporting: Prepare daily, weekly, or monthly reports on workshop productivity, KPIs, and vehicle health data.
