Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Floor operations - Provide customer service, support POS counter operation, support staff shortage area, and other floor-related work assigned by the Outlet Manager.
∎ Ensure proper grooming of the department staff before opening for customers.
∎ Conduct staff briefing for the staff of the perishable department in overlapping shift
∎ Attendance checks for the department employees and report to the duty manager.
∎ Ensure cleanliness and functioning of display chillers, scales, and price tags in the produce section.
∎ Overlooking and arranging fish meat and produce department display with existing stock.
∎ Sorting the wastage/unsalable products from vegetables, fruits, fish, and meat and reconciling it properly between physical products and scrap registers to report it to the outlet manager
∎ Maintained FIFO during the display of freshly received products in the fish, meat, dairy, and frozen.
∎ Identify unavailable items and report to the outlet manager for cash purchase approval.
∎ Ensure damage/wastage products are kept in the specific area and separated as "Damage/Wastage.
∎ Analysis of category-wise wastage and return to vendor against category sales and report.Ice purchase tracking and report the requirement to the outlet manager for ordering.
∎ Prepare sales analysis to track category-wise sales achievement and GP - share with staff improvement.
∎ Conduct perpetual stock count of perishable items for shrinkage and report the variance details
∎ Conduct market survey of vegetables, fruits, fish, and meat and submit the report to the Outlet Manager.
