• Familiarity with substation operations and electrical house wiring

Responsibilities & Context:

Bashundhara Group – Sector C (Cement Industry) is seeking a skilled Sub Assistant Engineer/Assistant Engineer (Electrical) to join its Electrical Maintenance team. The role involves shift-based maintenance of major plant equipment, including the VRM, Ball Mill, Packing Plant, and Substation. Candidates with experience in cement or heavy industries will be preferred.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct overall electrical maintenance of:
  • Vertical Roller Mill (VRM), Ball Mill & Roller Press
  • Coal Mill, Packing Plant, Silo
  • Substation and Unloading Section
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and execute prompt corrective actions.
• Carry out motor control circuit design, testing, and fault diagnostics.
• Perform cable termination for power, control, and instrumentation systems.
• Work on soft starters, inverters, PLC I/O modules, and DCS systems.
• Install, calibrate, and maintain electrical and instrumentation devices (TT, PT, Load Cells, Meters).
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and internal procedures.
• Maintain proper documentation of all electrical maintenance activities.
