Key Requirements:

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in audio software: A strong understanding of Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs) like Pro Tools and Logic Pro is crucial. Ensuring that all aspects of the recording process are handled with precision. Being able to come up with unique and innovative ideas for capturing and producing the highest quality audio. Staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and techniques in the field. Understanding how to operate and troubleshoot all audio equipment like mixing consoles, microphones, and signal processors, etc, is necessary. A good understanding of room acoustics and how sound interacts with space is essential for achieving optimal recording quality.

• Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work effectively with other members of the production team, including artists, producers, and other engineers etc. Clearly explaining technical concepts to clients and collaborators, and being able to work with artists and producers who may have different styles and preferences.

• Problem-solving: Being able to identify and resolve technical issues that may arise during recording sessions. Analyzing sounds, making adjustments, and finding creative solutions to achieve the desired sound.

• Formal education & Experience

• Minimum Higher Secondary Certificate with a good grade, a degree in audio engineering, music production, or a related field can provide a strong foundation. Three years of hands-on experience as a sound recording engineer in any reputable sound recording studio.
