Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters degree in any discipline, Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Technology
∎ MBA in Apparel Merchandising will be given preference
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
Job Context:
∎ Candidate having knowledge & experience in 100% export oriented knit composite factories is requested to apply.
∎ Follow up factory production with full dedication as a responsible team member.
∎ Coordinate and communicate with Respondent Dept. for developing each and every product on schedule timeframe along with PO.
∎ In the product development process ensure that products meet customer`s quality and budget requirement.
∎ Capable to communicating with mail communication for new queries as well as updates and follow-up.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assist line Manager to meet the shipment timely.
∎ Responsible for the merchandise starting from development until the shipment of the products.
∎ Capable to solve problem that may arise during development and production.
∎ Provide guidance to factory to understand and follow systems & procedures of individual buyer.
∎ Detail follow up of timeline of each order also follow up orders with vendors, customers and internal parties to ensure customer satisfaction and on-time delivery.
∎ Monitoring overall activities of suppliers, commercial, shipping, quality checking of goods, etc. to ensure smooth production and shipment.
∎ Skill in costing, production planning, and having technical knowledge. Able to line booking for round the year at any situation & run the factory independently.
∎ Oversee and do costing and pricing of the garment and negotiations with the buyers to reach the final acceptable prices.
∎ Monitoring the status of approval / per-production / photo samples/delivery.
∎ Must have the ability to understand current market trends and buying psychology.
∎ Proper execution of orders according to planned Time and Action Plan on regular basis to ensure on time shipment with right quality and quantity.
∎ Perform all other job assigned by Department Head
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 40 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Buying House, Garments, Textiles
∎ 05 years plus experience in knitting composite garments merchandising.
∎ Must have in depth knowledge in yarn quality, yarn price, knitting, dyeing, finishing and total fabrication cost.
∎ Understand knit garments production lead time from yarn making to garment packing.
∎ Must be able to do costing of all kinds of knit composite garments. Able to do consumption & costing independently & on the spot.
∎ Must have knowledge & experience in different kind of printing.
∎ Must have good knowledge in knitting garments
∎ Must have knowledge in logistic & commercial team and processes.
∎ Should be able to work under extensive pressure & solve problem creatively.
∎ Should be fluent in English correspondences both in written & oral forms and well conversant with computer applications
