Job Context:
∎ We are looking for a Senior Scrum Master to ensure flawless operation of functional/technical teams, helping them solve some of the most complex challenges while simultaneously ensuring a collaborative and knowledge sharing environment.
∎ As Senior Scrum Master, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with various product owners, transfer the requirements to the team, help them define the right user stories, prioritize and manage the teams according to business priorities and demands. You will be aware of the purpose, risks and opportunities on the requests and drive the team towards it.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Works with product managers and development teams to assure requirements are captured and recorded using the appropriate agile methodology, such as Scrum, Kanban
∎ Works as a Scrum Master to effectively fulfill departmental objectives and aligning them with the objectives of the organization
∎ Develops a deep knowledge of all aspects of the project, helps teams define priorities and effectively manages planning, execution, and monitoring to successful conclusion
∎ Facilitates Sprint Planning, Release Planning, Daily Stand-Ups, Product Demos and Sprint Retrospectives
∎ Supports product owners and department heads in developing, maintaining and grooming Product Backlog
∎ Utilizes team feedback and relevant metrics to identify areas of opportunity and works with team to continuously improve on their projects
∎ Identifies and manages dependencies with other internal or external teams
∎ Provides metrics and status to the management
∎ Supports/Collaborates with team members to implement Agile/Scrum best practices
∎ Diligently prepares and collates project progress/status, issues & risks
∎ Performs development capacity planning and helping in release scheduling
∎ Actively manages project risks and issues
∎ Prepares project status reports, burndown, and keeps the top management and project stakeholders informed of project status and related issues
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum of 5 years of Scrum Master experience using Agile Methodologies, preferably with a large software development team that was diligently applying Scrum principles, practices, and theory
∎ Strong professional experience in Agile development
∎ Strong technical aptitude and hands on experience working with technical teams
∎ Excellent problem solving and conflict resolution skills
∎ Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills
∎ Versatile knowledge base regarding unique factors and challenges of software development and project management
∎ Adept at creating strong relationships that foster the spirit of innovation, improvement, and collaborative solutions and developments
∎ Ability to quickly grasp technology concepts and communicate with internal , external teams and stakeholders
∎ Has an in-depth knowledge of product life cycles, standards, and supporting processes and practices
∎ Ability to work under tight deadlines and an iterative design process
