Job Responsibilities:
∎ Objective 01: Identification and referral of Acute Malnutrition
∎ Supervise the screening activity at the community level
∎ Ensure functional referral mechanism of identified malnourished children.
∎ Ensure the proper documentation is marinated
∎ Objective 02: Capacity Building Activity
∎ Formal and on the job training of the partners staff , Community Mobilizers, Volunteers and government frontline service on CMAM
∎ Capacity building of Mother to Mother support groups
∎ Objective 03: Management of Acute Malnutrition
∎ Supervise the enrollment of severe acute malnutrition (SAM) as per guideline
∎ Monitor and supervise weekly follow up of SAM children
∎ Strengthen referral of complicated SAM to Upazila health complex.
∎ Support Upazila health complex of inpatient management of SAM as needed.
∎ Objective 04: Supportive supervision of malnutrition prevention activity
∎ Supervision of regular integrated health and nutrition session conduction at community level
∎ Monitor micro nutrients supplementation
∎ Scaling up promotion and support for infant young child feeding practices at community level
∎ Assist campaigning on disaster preparedness, gender equity, dietary diversity, positive nutrition seeking behaviors, hygiene promotion and mental health issues
∎ Objective 05: External Coordination
∎ Representation of Action Contre La Faim independently at Upazila , district level and different nutrition and health thematic groups as needed.
∎ Objective 06: Proactively support ACFs commitments to gender equality, child protection and disability sensitivity
∎ Read and ensure a full understanding of ACFs Gender Minimum Standards & Child Protection
∎ Policies, asking questions and/or for support when necessary
∎ Be strongly committed to Gender Equality and the Humanitarian Principals;
∎ Promote Gender Equality within the humanitarian and/or development work.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 18 years
∎ Minimum 5 yrs of work experience and at least 3 years of professional experience working in the field of nutrition.
∎ Working experience with ACF Nutrition and Health interventions will be an added value
∎ Strong understanding and field level experience of nutrition information system, monitoring and evaluation.
∎ Strong understanding and field level experience on Community based Management of Acute Malnutrition
∎ Proven experience in management (team management, supervision, activity planning)
Salary: Tk. 75470 (Monthly)
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Festival Bonus: 02 basic salary per year.
∎ Provident Fund: 7.5% of Basic Salary.
∎ Gratuity: As per organization policy.
∎ Medical coverage: 80% hospitalization coverage medical expenses (max limit BDT 120,000 per year).
