Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor/Masters in Social Science or other related subjects.
∎ Bachelor/Masters in Social Science or equivalent.

Job Context:
∎ Job Location: Kalapara & Rangabali Upazila under Patuakhali District.
∎ Project Duration: 35 Month.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Will be responsible for implementation of all field level activities in the assigned District and act as the focal point at the Upazila levels. S/he will be assisted by the Field Facilitator.
∎ S/he is responsible for ensuring all Climate Change Adaptation and Innovation Piloting, Community led Agri. and WASH activities implementation, FPP/CPP volunteers' selection and capacity building; Community Mobilization; Mobilizing Contingency Fund as per Donor Requirement, CVCA-CAP activities are implemented according to the work plan.
∎ Will regularly coordinate with the CARE's TC-Preparedness and Innovation-PRODRIPTA and Sr. MEL Officer-PRODRIPTA to ensure MEL Plan implementation, generate KML documents such as developing training modules, CRA/RRAP tools etc.
∎ Supervise the field facilitators for proper and timely implementation of the activities.
∎ The Sr. Officer- Preparedness, Capacity Building and Innovation will submit report inputs to Project Manager.
∎ Supported to Project Manager for Ensure preparation of Project Implementation Plan (PIP) for implementation of the Project activities covering the area of operation.
∎ Ensure that the monthly schedule is prepared for all the staffs under the area of operation and activities are done as per schedule.
∎ Monitor the progress of planed activities to ensure that the activities are done in a qualitative and quantitative way within the stipulated time frame.
∎ Ensure proper planning, designing, organizing and facilitation of the orientation/discussion sessions, meetings, workshops, seminars etc. at the Union, Upazila and District level.
∎ Ensure that the staffs are getting necessary logistics support on time for smooth implementation of the project activities.
∎ Ensure that the Progress report is prepared for the organization, other partners including the donor agencies on monthly, quarterly and annual basis and submit on time.
∎ Ensure that project staff establish and maintain liaison/coordination with the local level stakeholders, GOs, NGOs and donor agencies relevant to the project and Local Government Development Programming.
∎ Participate in the Senior Management Meetings of JAGO NARI to share project updates and ideas/views for the development of the project and other projects as well.
∎ Undertake staff development training as part of the related project activities and undertake orientation, discussion sessions etc. to address the staff development needs thereby ensuring effective implementation of the project activities.
∎ Plan and implement staff performance appraisal as staff development mechanism.
∎ Ensure that the staffs are well aware of the gender policy, child protection policy, human rights, and governance issues and following those in dealing with the colleagues and project partners including the project participants.
∎ Ensure that an enabling environment is prevailing at the work place and staffs are working well enjoying equal opportunities irrespective of male and female.

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 3-4 years working experience in managerial positions including 2 years' experience in program implementation, monitoring and Staff Supervision.
∎ Age: Age At most 45 year(s) but it should be relaxed for experienced candidate
∎ Good negotiation skills.
∎ Strong field facilitation skills, knowledge in pro-poor program implementation.
∎ Preference will be given to candidates having prior working experience in the project area having experience in capacity building and Climate Change Adaptation and Innovation Piloting activity.
∎ Knowledge of Environmental compliance and implementation of Climate Risk Management Plan (CRM)
∎ Knowledge of good governance, DRR gender equity and multifaceted intervention
∎ Willing to spend significant time in the field
∎ Any other tasks assigned by supervisor/ management.
∎ Core Competencies :
∎ Familiar with bio-physical and socio-economic condition of central Costal Districts (Patuakhali).
∎ Ability to work in a team with good interpersonal skills.
∎ Ability to prioritize activities to act and decide promptly.
∎ Proficient in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, Power Point);
∎ Good verbal and written communication skills in local language, English and Bengali;
∎ Pro-active and participatory decision-making and problem-solving;
∎ Ability to communicate with people from different cultures and backgrounds;
∎ Experience in Cash for work (CFW) modality through Mobile Money Transfer (MMT) will be prioritized
∎ Good understanding on issues related to gender equity and protection

Salary: Tk. 32000 (Monthly)
