Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelors Degree or equivalent Exam Pass. (Minimum got GPA 2.5).
Job Context:
∎ Job Location: Taltoli Upazila under Barguna District.
∎ Project Duration: Up to December 2025 (project can be extended subject to the donor fund availability)
∎ JAGO NARI is working in the development sector since 1998 for women empowerment and reduces inequality at coastal districts of Bangladesh. JAGO NARI is seeking a Union Facilitator for Right 2 Grow (R2G) project, Funded by Action Contre la Faim (ACF). This position will be the project period.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Design the Plan for conducting in-depth safety assessment of the project area to identify vulnerability and needs.
∎ Provide training to the Community Promotors in conducting the assessment.
∎ Work closely with the Community Promotors in conducting the safety assessments.
∎ Prepare an assessment report including the Nutrition & Wash activities
∎ Ensure that the designs include the considerations to ensure accessibility of the children/ persons with disabilities.
∎ Ensure disaster resilient WASH and nutrition facilities in Working Area.
∎ Maintain weekly and monthly implementation plan.
∎ Jointly work with Community Promotors assist them for smooth implementation.
∎ Establish and maintain liaison/coordination with the Government & UP officials.
∎ Implement the activities as per Detail Activity Plan (DIP), review monthly plan of Community promoter.
∎ Work closely with Union Parishad for implementation of the small-scale mitigation activities as per plan and design.
∎ Organize training sessions for stakeholders to ensure achieve project objectives.
∎ Ensure awareness of the Men, Women and children on use of WASH facilities and Nutrition.
∎ Prepare weekly and monthly progress report of the activities and submit to the Supervisor on time.
∎ Follow-up and monitoring of the activities to ensure quality and timeliness and provide necessary feedback for improvement.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 3 years of experience in development sector as Same Position.
∎ Age At most 40 year(s) but it should be relaxed for experienced candidate.
∎ Minimum of 3 years experiences at development sector as Same Position.
∎ Experience in implementing, designing and guiding the implementation of the project activities in the rural areas;
∎ Innovative, dynamic, hardworking and have good interpersonal relationship and ability to work in a team;
∎ Experienced in communication, liaison and collaborating with the GO/NGO officials;
∎ Good communication skill in English and Bengali;
∎ Willing to work in pressure situation and interested to implement project at the remote areas of Bangladesh.
Salary: Tk. 25000 (Monthly)
