Position Overview:

• The Associate, Research Monitoring and Evaluation (RM&E) will be responsible for data quality monitoring (DQM) and frequent school and field visits to verify program implementation, ensure data accuracy, and generate evidence-based insights, overseeing program and project data collection compilation, cleaning, analysis, and reporting across all Room to Read implementation areas. This position will also support the RM&E team in planning, managing, and implementing assessments, research, and monitoring activities for Literacy and Gender Equality portfolios, including tool development and data collection using platforms such as SurveyCTO. In addition, the role involves supporting Global Indicator reporting, Program Implementation Monitoring (PIM) data review, compilation, and preparation of analytical reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.

• This is a country office-based position requiring frequent travel to implementation areas, accounting for more than 50% of the time. The Associate, RM&E will report to the Associate Director, RM&E.
