Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Yarn Procurement will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring a steady and cost-effective supply of high-quality yarn to meet the production needs.
∎ Must have secured knowledge and understanding in Yarn and Fabric construction with the experience of minimum 10 Years.
∎ Generating and implementing efficient sourcing and procurement management policies.
∎ Managing and purchasing orders and making payments as well managing transport.
∎ Following – Up merchandising, production & yarn dispatchment.
∎ Optimizing sourcing procedures to attain maximum efficiency.
∎ Maintaining Vendors assessment for continuous developing a pool of good vendors and building a long-term sustainable relationship with them.
∎ Conducting a market survey on a regular basis to forecast demand of yarn.
∎ Developing proper MIS for monitoring & control of all indents.
∎ Keeping a check on issuance and consumption of yarn.
∎ Negotiating and Re-negotiating vendor contracts in favor of the company.
∎ Sourcing potential suppliers on a regular basis, Evaluating Suppliers' qualification & proposals through comparative study and preparation of Purchase Orders.
∎ Ensure that all practices are consistent with company guidelines and regulations
