Requirements:
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Oversee the entire sewing department, ensuring smooth operations and timely production targets.
∎ Optimize manpower utilization and line balancing for maximum output and efficiency.
∎ Closely monitoring and follow up line input and output according to the production plan based on Central Production Planning.
∎ Coordinate with other departments (cutting, washing, finishing, and quality) for smooth workflow.
∎ Lead & motivate Production team (Worker, Staff & Management) by monitoring, performance evaluation, improvement feedback, limiting downtime, meeting efficiency and productivity target.
∎ To analysis any breakdown, downtime, failure and to implement action plan to control further repetition.
∎ Train the team on best practices, safety protocols, and technical skills specific to denim garment manufacturing.
∎ Drive continuous improvement initiatives and foster a culture of accountability and performance.
∎ To work on compliance, safety, health and housekeeping rules & regulations in the Production department.
