Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Deploy, maintain, back up, and troubleshoot various services, including DNS, Email, SMTP, Web hosting, MRTG, Database, speed test, Bandwidth Manager, and IP log.
∎ Work with upstream providers such as IIGs, IXs, and CDV providers to maintain connectivity and optimize performance.
∎ Conduct internet traffic engineering and load balancing to ensure efficient resource utilization and maximum output.
∎ Manage, troubleshoot, and proactively update hardware and software assets to prevent downtime and zero-day exploits.
∎ Monitor and report on the quality, effectiveness, and customer satisfaction related to service operations.
∎ Perform IPv4 and IPv6 routing, subnetting, and configuration to maintain network efficiency.
∎ Ensure the security and efficiency of the IT infrastructure.
∎ Determine network and system requirements and devise creative solutions to overcome technical challenges.
∎ Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies and systems.
∎ Respond to and resolve helpdesk requests in a timely manner.
∎ Take responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the IT team, providing guidance and supervision to achieve common business goals.
∎ Prepare and track daily, weekly, and monthly reports on various metrics and activities.
∎ Submit required reports to BTRC.
