Education:
    • Master of Law (LLM)
  • Enrollment as an Advocate with the Bangladesh Bar Council.

  • PhD or any other higher specialized degree in Law will be given preference.

Additional Requirements:
  • Age 30 to 50 years
  • Only Male
  • Experience in handling complex legal matters including litigation, contract enforcement and regulatory affairs as well as experience in handling legal disputes, particularly in the recovery of Non-performing Loan (NPL).



Responsibilities & Context:
  • Lead the Group legal and compliance functions and support strategic business decisions from a legal perspective.

  • Provide strategic legal counsel to the Senior Management and Board of Directors on legal risks and regulatory matters.

  • Submit progress reports on pending litigation cases on a monthly basis to the Board of Directors.

  • Manage litigation, contracts, and legal documentation.

  • Develop internal policies and governance frameworks and provide legal input in strategic business initiatives to support the Group's operational & ethical goals.

  • Provide legal advice to management and different departments

  • Interpret laws, regulations, and company policies.

  • Ensure compliance with company laws, labor laws, tax laws, and regulatory requirements.

  • Coordinate with government and regulatory authorities and monitor changes in laws affecting the  business and external lawyers and law firm

  • Assist in board meetings and corporate governance matters.

  • Maintain legal records, licenses, and statutory documents.

  • Supervise junior legal officers and legal staff.
