Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Responsible the overall custom & bond function of the Group as per government compliance.
∎ Communicate with Bank, C&F, buyer, forwarder, audit firm, supplier, Board of investment and chief controller of import & export (CCI &E) regarding custom & bonds formalities
∎ Ensure updating bond register (In bond & Ex Bond) on due time.
∎ Ensure yearly import/export also incentive customs statement for bond audit.
∎ To maintain strong liaison with Customs office and other government bodies related customs and bond.
∎ Perform for and face routine audit by external agencies relating UD and UP.
∎ Follow up all import L/C formalities and make sure "insurance coverage note" open according to PI collected for LC opening.
∎ Ensure preparation of Bill of Entry for forwarding relevant document to C&F for custom clearance.
∎ Ensure handling over relevant documents to operations of transportation of goods and material to and from ports.
∎ Responsible for Import permission (IP) Certificate issuing for Importing machinery from Board.
∎ Job Location: Chattogram (Farzana Group) Head Office
