A renowned 100 % export based Knit Composite Garments Industry is looking for potential candidate for the position of Sr. Manager/ AGM (Industrial Engineering) at its factory located near Mawna, Gazipur.

The factory is producing 2.5 - 3.0 million pieces garments in each month.

• The selected candidate will be responsible for managing the overall activities of Industrial Engineering department. He will ensure achieving production efficiency level of the factory as per world class standard.

• The ideal candidate should have proven leadership quality & have the ability to train the workforce of industrial engineering, production, quality and other support departments for achieving the optimum production efficiency level.

Job Responsibilities

• Analyze efficiencies of different production sections/departments of the factory and identify ways to maximize the efficiency and reduce the cost.

• Finalize the operation bulletins and line lay out for every new style.

• Continue to look for opportunity to implement work aids to reduce steps, time and cost

• Continuously look for method to reduce the cost and improve the efficiency

• Follow up proper manpower utilization and line balancing

• Follow up Method study activities in knitting, dyeing, printing, cutting, sewing & finishing

• Setting of Standard Minute Value for new operations.

• Confirming of Standard Minute Value and line target.

• Pre planning of man, machine and attachment requirements

• Train operators for particular operation as needed for specific steps.

• Ensure preparation of regular reports by IE department and submission of the same to management for consumption

• Collect the reports prepared by IE persons, analyze and identify the most demanding needs of the production process improvement

• Make regular visits to areas that directly relates to Production Cost and prepare plans to reduce the same.

• Make sure that the Work Study Officers do Capacity Studies for the production lines and Production Studies for individual operators.

• Regularly follow up the Functions of the Industrial Engineering Department officials to see whether they are performing as per the schedule
