Requirements:

∎ Age 30 to 35 years
∎ Proven expertise in fabric and trim sourcing directly from mills and suppliers.
∎ Strong ability to design and develop formal trousers and performance wear.
∎ Experience leading and mentoring design teams.
∎ Excellent presentation and communication skills for engaging with buyers and stakeholders.
∎ Knowledge of garment construction, branding, and technical design.
∎ Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
∎ Familiarity with the UK and Canadian fashion markets is a plus.
∎ Experience in both high-end and mass-market apparel.
∎ Background working with international markets, especially in the UK and Canada.
∎ Knowledge of sustainable fabrics and design practices is advantageous.

∎ Drive the design process for men’s formal trousers and performance wear, ensuring alignment with market trends and brand identity.
∎ Build and maintain relationships with mills and suppliers to source high-quality fabrics and trims, ensuring materials meet required standards.
∎ Guide and mentor junior designers, fostering professional growth within the team.
∎ Present design concepts, samples, and specifications to buyers, ensuring alignment with client expectations and project timelines.
∎ Support brand identity and storytelling through thoughtful design narratives that resonate with target audiences.
∎ Create client and internal presentations, and support the development of marketing tools and promotional materials.
∎ Use 3D design software (e.g., Clo3D, Gerber) for virtual prototyping and to enhance design presentations.
∎ Conduct trend and market research focused on the UK and Canadian markets to inform design direction.
∎ Collaborate closely with production and quality control teams to ensure designs meet budget, quality, and delivery timelines.
