Responsibilities & Context:
∎ We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven professional for the position of Sr. Executive/Asst. Manager - Local Sales at our ceramic manufacturing company in Bangladesh. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, building strong relationships with clients, and achieving sales targets in the local market.
∎ Key Responsibilities:
∎ 1. Sales Strategy & Execution:
∎ a) Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets in the local market.
∎ b) Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company’s market presence.
∎ 2. Customer Relationship Management:
∎ a) Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
∎ b) Address client inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a timely and professional manner.
∎ 3. Market Analysis:
∎ a) Conduct market research to identify customer needs, competitor activities, and industry trends.
∎ b) Provide actionable insights to management for refining sales strategies and product offerings.
∎ 4. Order Management:
∎ a) Manage the entire sales cycle, from order placement to delivery, ensuring timely and accurate processing of client orders.
∎ b) Collaborate with the production and logistics teams to ensure on-time delivery and quality assurance.
∎ 5. Sales Reporting:
∎ a) Prepare and submit accurate sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses to senior management.
∎ b) Track sales performance against targets and recommend corrective actions as needed.
∎ 6. Promotional Activities:
∎ a) Coordinate and participate in local sales campaigns, exhibitions, and promotional events to boost brand awareness and sales.
∎ b) Work closely with the marketing team to design and implement promotional strategies.
∎ 7. Team Collaboration:
∎ a) Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, marketing, and customer service, to ensure a seamless customer experience.
∎ b) Provide support and guidance to junior sales staff as needed.
∎ 8. Client Credit Management:
∎ a) Monitor client payment schedules and ensure timely collection of receivables.
∎ b) Assess client creditworthiness and recommend appropriate credit limits.
