Experience:
Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Environmental Science
Master of Science (MSc) in Environmental Science

Should be very good in English communication (Both writing & speaking)
Good leadership ability to lead & motivate the subordinates.
Able to work under pressure and complete the task within a preset time-frame.
Excellent in inter-personal & communication skills.
Good team player, well-organized having good initiative and is detail-oriented.
Should have knowledge regarding Biological E.T.P Management with sound knowledge ZLD & STP installation as per the DOE new requirement.
Develop and implement sustainability strategies aligned with buyer requirements (Higg FEM, SLCP/FSLM, ZDHC, GHG Reporting, Waste & Water management).
Monitor factory environmental performance (energy, water consumption, wastewater quality, chemical usage, carbon footprint).
Lead initiatives on waste reduction, recycling, resource optimization, and renewable energy implementation.
Conduct internal environmental assessments and ensure continuous improvement.
Coordinate environmental impact assessments and sustainability reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
Ensure factory compliance with local labor laws, Bangladesh Labor Act, Fire & Building safety rules, and buyer Code of Conduct.
Should have knowledge social compliance audits (BSCI, SEDEX, Accord/Nirapon/RSC, ICS, etc.) and maintain audit readiness.
Conduct regular internal compliance audits and prepare CAP (Corrective Action Plans).
Follow up on CAP closure and maintain proper documentation and evidence.
Ensure full implementation of health & safety standards (fire safety, EHS, occupational safety).
Coordinate risk assessments, emergency preparedness drills, and safety trainings.
Oversee Chemical Management System (CMS), ZDHC MRSL compliance, and hazardous waste control.
Ensure proper record keeping, SDS availability, chemical inventory, and storage compliance.
Liaise with buyer sustainability teams, compliance auditors, and certification bodies.
Manage audit scheduling, pre-audit preparation, documentation control, and audit execution.
Prepare sustainability progress reports, compliance updates, and required submissions.
Conduct regular training for management, mid-level officers, and workers on compliance, safety, and sustainability requirements.
Build internal team capacity on EHS, social standards, environmental KPIs, and chemical safety.
Maintain all compliance and sustainability-related documentation, licenses, and permits.
Ensure timely renewal of environmental clearances, fire licenses, and other regulatory certifications.
Support achieving and maintaining certifications (ISO 14001, ISO 9001, ISO 45001, OEKO-TEX-100 & Step, GOTS, GRS, RCS, etc.)
