Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Set the target and draft and design layout of machine, materials, and workspace to illustrate maximum efficiency, using drafting tools and computer;
∎ Study and record time, motion, method, and speed involved in the performance of production, and other worker operations;
∎ Prepare layout for the floor for effective utilization of men, machines, and materials;
∎ Analyze productivity and improve the system by implementing the kaizen process;
∎ Lay out the production schedule so that production quotas are met;
∎ Prepare still inventory for the operator;
∎ Communicate with management and user personnel to develop production and design standards;
∎ Arrange technical and pre-production meetings with the production and quality team before new styles/input are given in line;
∎ Recommend methods for improving utilization of personnel, material, and utilities;
∎ Regulate and alter workflow schedules according to established manufacturing sequences and lead times to expedite production operations;
∎ Perform any other task as assigned by the superior.
