∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Industrial Engineering, Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Industrial Eng & Production
∎ Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Textile Technology, or related field.

∎ Age at most 30 years
∎ Minimum 3 years of experience in GSD costing and thread consumption estimation.
∎ GSD license holders are highly preferred
∎ Strong understanding of garment construction, SPI, stitches, and thread types.
∎ Excellent analytical skills and high attention to detail
∎ Experience with ERP or PLM systems.
∎ Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
∎ Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Analyze garment operations using GSD to calculate accurate SMVs.
∎ Break down styles into individual operations and assign GSD-based time values.
∎ Collaborate with Product Development and IE teams to validate construction methods.
∎ Review technical packs and operation breakdowns to estimate thread consumption.
∎ Prepare accurate thread consumption reports for both sample and bulk orders.
∎ Provide SMV and thread data to merchandising/costing teams for quotation and negotiation.
∎ Update cost sheets with accurate SMV and thread usage details.
∎ Maintain updated databases of SMVs, thread consumption, and operation bulletins.
∎ Generate reports on SMV validations, thread usage trends, and costing analysis.
∎ Coordinate with sample, planning, production, and procurement teams to ensure data alignment.
∎ Provide accurate SMV and thread data during pre-production meetings.
∎ Identify opportunities to improve methods or reduce thread usage without compromising quality.
∎ Support lean initiatives in thread and labor utilization.
∎ 1. GSD Costing and SMV Analysis
∎ Analyze garment operations using GSD to calculate accurate SMVs.
