Responsibilities & Context:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Sr. Executive – Commercial to support end-to-end commercial and import operations for our IT distribution and technology solutions business. The role will oversee supplier coordination, import documentation, banking and L/C operations, customs clearance, shipment management, regulatory compliance, commercial cost control, and cross-functional coordination to ensure timely product availability and efficient commercial operations.

 

The ideal candidate should have practical experience in handling commercial/import operations, preferably for IT products, computer hardware, accessories, networking equipment, enterprise solutions, or similar technology products.

 

Key Responsibilities

1. Supplier, Banking & Trade Documentation Management

  • Coordinate with overseas suppliers and principals for purchase orders, payment terms, shipment schedules, and commercial requirements

  • Prepare, review, and maintain import and trade documents including PO, PI, L/C, T/T, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Insurance Cover Note, BL/AWB, and related regulatory documentation

  • Liaise with banks for L/C opening, amendment, acceptance, retirement, foreign payments, and compliance requirements

    Ensure accuracy and compliance of all commercial documents in accordance with import regulations and company policies

 

2. Shipment, Customs & Import Execution

 

  • Monitor import shipments from order confirmation through customs clearance and warehouse delivery

  • Coordinate with freight forwarders, insurance providers, and C&F agents to ensure timely shipment processing

  • Support customs clearance activities including HS Code verification, customs assessment, duty calculation, examination, and cargo release

  • Monitor freight, duty, demurrage, detention, and related import costs to ensure efficient commercial operations

3. Internal Coordination, Compliance & Reporting

 

  • Collaborate with Sales, Product Management, Finance, Accounts, PMO, and Warehouse teams to ensure product availability and delivery commitments

  • Prepare landed cost analysis, commercial cost sheets, shipment status reports, payment schedules, and management reports

  • Maintain organized records of commercial transactions, banking documents, customs records, and supplier correspondence

  • Support regulatory compliance, audit requirements, and other commercial assignments as directed by management
