• Bachelor/Honors

• Bachelor`s degree in Computer Science & Engineering (CSE), Information Technology (IT), Computer Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering (EEE), or a related discipline from a recognized university.

• Diploma in Computer Engineering with relevant experience may also be considered.

• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Insurance

• Age 22 to 32 years

• 1–3 years of experience in IT hardware support, network administration, or technical support.

• Fresh graduates with strong technical knowledge and relevant certifications are encouraged to apply.

• Good knowledge of computer hardware troubleshooting and maintenance.

• Familiarity with Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office.

• Basic knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN).

• Experience with Active Directory, file sharing, printer management, and user support will be an advantage.

• Knowledge of CCTV, IP telephony, biometric attendance systems, and UPS maintenance will be preferred.

• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and provide prompt technical support.

• Willingness to travel to branch offices when required.

A leading and reputable Life Insurance Company in Bangladesh is looking for a qualified, energetic, and technology-driven professional to join its Information Technology Department as an Officer – Hardware Engineer (IT). The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining the organization`s IT hardware infrastructure, providing technical support, ensuring network connectivity, and supporting uninterrupted business operations across the Head Office and branch offices.

Job Location:

• Corporate Head Office, Dhaka

• Occasional travel to branch offices across Bangladesh.

Job Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot desktop computers, laptops, printers, scanners, UPS, biometric devices, and other IT hardware.

• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and peripheral-related issues in a timely manner.

• Install, configure, and maintain Windows operating systems and standard office applications.

• Provide first-level IT support to Head Office and branch users.

• Configure and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, routers, switches, and network connectivity issues.

• Monitor hardware performance and recommend upgrades or replacements when necessary.

• Perform preventive maintenance of IT equipment and maintain service records.

• Install and configure antivirus software and ensure endpoint security.

• Maintain IT asset inventory and update asset management records.

• Coordinate with vendors for warranty claims, repairs, and procurement of IT equipment.

• Support installation and maintenance of insurance application software and related systems.

• Assist in server room maintenance, backup operations, and disaster recovery activities.

• Ensure compliance with the company`s IT security policies and procedures.

• Prepare technical documentation, maintenance reports, and IT support logs.

• Provide remote technical support to branch offices across Bangladesh whenever required.
