∎ Skills Required: Product Costing and budgeting, Procurement, L/C, international and local trade and transportation, MS Word/Excel, PowerPoint and advance level computer skills

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Job Location: Head Office
∎ TCL Group, a group of companies based on constructions, Agro and ICT industry is looking for immediate recruitment for Commercial Manager who will be responsible to coordinate all national and international Commercial & Procurement related activities of TCL Construction Projects from Corporate Office at Dhaka.
∎ Strategic Planning: Developing and implementing strategic plans to achieve commercial objectives and contribute to the overall growth and success of the company.
∎ Compliance and Legal Matters: Ensuring that the company complies with all relevant laws and regulations is a critical responsibility. This includes matters related to contracts, licensing, and industry-specific regulations.
∎ Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers and vendors local and global. Negotiate terms and conditions, including pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms.
∎ Sourcing and Procurement: Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services. This includes sourcing new suppliers when necessary.
∎ Contract Management: Draft, review, and manage procurement contracts and agreements. Ensure that contracts are legally sound and aligned with the project needs and policies.
∎ Quality Assurance: Ensure that procured goods and services meet the required quality standards. Implement quality control processes and work with suppliers to resolve quality issues.
∎ Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with procurement activities, including supply chain disruptions, geopolitical factors, and supplier-related risks.
∎ Import and Export Documentation: Oversee the preparation and submission of required import and export documentation, such as bills of lading, certificates of origin, and other customs-related paperwork.
∎ Customs Clearance: Coordinate and manage the customs clearance process, ensuring that goods can move through customs without delays or issues. Resolve any customs-related problems or discrepancies.
∎ Freight Forwarding: Manage the movement of goods from the point of origin to their final destination, selecting the most appropriate shipping methods and carriers.
∎ Play a crucial role in ensuring all the necessary steps have been taken for optimizing the logistics and supply chain operations of TCL engaged in international and local trade and transportation.
