Job Context:
∎ GRAUS is going to implement an anticipated six months project named `Integrated response to COVID-19 crisis through healthcare, WASH and protection programs`` with the support of Save the Children International in Lama and Alikadom Upazilas of Bandarban Hill District. GRAUS intends to hire a competent, experienced and qualified Sr. Child Protection Officer for the mentioned project. The position confirmation subjected to the donor approval and availability of funding.
∎ Base Office : Lama/Alikadom
∎ Work Place : Lama and Alikadom Upazila

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Supervise and manage to the team to ensure case management and community-based child protection activities are implemented effectively, in line with donor agency's quality standards and internal approach.
∎ Undertake regular visits to all project activities to supervise sessions and provide feedback and support.
∎ Oversee the quality of case management services and ensure effective identification, assessment, case planning and follow up.
∎ Ensure effective community engagement, outreach, and the establishment and running of community-based child protection mechanisms.
∎ Ensure all activities comply with all relevant donor agency's policies and procedures including child safeguarding, confidentiality and do no harm principles.
∎ Identify learning and training opportunities for the project staff, support trainings and support and build the capacity of less experienced staff.
∎ Build and manage relationships with external actors to ensure effective and coordinated programming.
∎ Coordinate with community leaders; local authorities relevant to child protection.
∎ Identify gaps in coverage and advocate internally and externally for the necessary scope, scale and/or quality of services.
∎ Responsible for submitting all logistical requirements to the Project Coordinator (PC) on a regular basis.
∎ Responsible for maintaining administrative files and all programme documentation, in compliance with donor requirements and internal standards.
∎ Ensure all MEAL data collection is up-to-date and other data collection tools are utilised effectively.
∎ Support in preparing quality and timely reports for donors and management, as per the internal and external requirements.
∎ Ensure effective monitoring, learning and accountability mechanisms in the location, and responsible for implementing feedback and recommendations.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 40 years
∎ At least 5 years' experience within a development organization, and at least 2 years' experience in a management position.
∎ The candidate must have knowledge in Child Protection issues such as local statutory child protection network, Child Protection Policies and Procedures, Equity issues and Child Protection, preparing report, team integrity, communication skills in English and Chittagong dialect (listening, writing and speaking). Good typing skill in English and Bangla, Advance use of MS Word, MS Excel and Power Point. Working experience with CHT local communities will be considered as suitability of the candidature.
∎ Age will be relaxed for experienced candidates.

Salary: Tk. 45000 (Monthly)
