∎ MSF has an opening for SPECIALIZED PEDIATRIC NURSE / TRAINING with the main purpose to organizing and implementing practical/bedside training activities for new employed, unexperienced nurses in the hospital according to MSF nursing protocols, standards and procedures, in order to warrant efficiency, quality and continuity of prescribed care
Job Responsibilities:
∎ • Organize and implement an efficient bedside training for unexperienced nurses, taking into consideration that we are working in 5 different departments (SARI, ER, PICU, ITFC, NICU) and that our aim is to continue with the same quality of care, maintaining CPAP, continuous infusions, very critical preterm newborns, very critical children and severe malnourished patients that require a specific knowledge.
∎ • According to MSF protocols and in collaboration with the NAM, MAM, coordinate and implement capacity building activities by ensuring practical training on very basic pediatric care skills to the advance CPAP care to for new nurses at the same time in 5 departments.
Additional Requirements:
∎ English and Bangla Desirable; Essential 4 years of previous experience, preferably in ICU, NICU. Previous experience providing bedside training for nurses would be and added value. Having worked in MSF or other NGO’s and in developing countries is desirable.
Salary:
∎ 3 months contract renewable based on performance and operational needs. 2 annual leave days per month worked. Medical insurance for employee and direct dependents.
