Job Context:
∎ Resource Integration Centre (RIC) is a national NGO since 1981 in Bangladesh. RIC has been implemented USAID’s MaMoni Maternal and Newborn Care Strengthening project, funded by USAID’s and Technical Support by Save the Children International under 4 Districts like Noakhali, Feni, Cox`s Bazar and Sandwip, Chottogram. RIC is seeking application from the potential candidate on the below position:
∎ Duty station: Upazila Health Complex in assigned district for USAID’s MaMoni MNCSP.
∎ Reportable to: Regional Manager
∎ Project: USAID’s MaMoni MNCSP

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Collect medical information from patients, family members, or other medical professionals.
∎ Record patient medical histories.
∎ Advise patients and community members concerning diet, activity, hygiene, and disease prevention
∎ Analyze records, reports, test results, or examination information to diagnose medical condition of patient.
∎ Explain medical procedures or test results to patients or family members.
∎ Care for women during pregnancy and childbirth.
∎ Care for and treat women during prenatal, natal and post-natal periods.
∎ Monitor patients' condition and progress and re-evaluate treatments as necessary.
∎ Perform cesarean sections or other surgical procedures as needed to preserve patients' health and deliver babies safely.
∎ Prescribe or administer therapy, medication, and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury.
∎ Refer patient to medical specialist or another practitioner when necessary.
∎ Consult with, or provide consulting services to other physicians. Plan, implement, or administer health programs in hospitals or communities for prevention and treatment of injuries or illnesses
∎ Monitoring Supervision-OT, Labor room, infection prevention, cleanness, all procedure preparedness.
∎ Monitor patients' conditions and progress and reevaluate treatments as necessary.
∎ Monitor patient progress or responses to treatments
∎ Collaborate with healthcare professionals to plan or provide treatment.
∎ Advise medical personnel regarding healthcare issues.
∎ Prepare government and organizational reports on birth, death, and disease statistics, workforce evaluations, or the medical status of individuals.
∎ Prepare official health documents or records.
∎ Strong liaison maintains with DGHS, DGFP, upazila & district administration authorities and public representative.
∎ Accountability mechanism:
∎ Holds self-accountable for making decisions, managing resources efficiently, achieving USAID’s MaMoni MNCSP goal and objectives and organizational policies and practices.

Additional Requirements:
∎ 05 years’ work experience in relevant field.
∎ Any age but must have Physical fitness retired person are allowed to apply.
∎ Age: Any age but must have Physical fitness.
∎ Both male and female retired person are allowed to apply.
∎ Proven experience working as an obstetrician and gynecologist.
∎ The ability to make quick decisions.
∎ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
∎ Effective communication skills.
∎ Empathetic and compassionate.
∎ Fluency spoken and written in English language is essential
∎ Good knowledge and understanding of the public health systems/GoB health and Family Planning systems and National Health Service strategy of Bangladesh.
∎ Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills and experience with developing working relations with government, civil society and other development partners.

Salary:
∎ 125,000/= Monthly. (Negotiable for highly experience person) Yearly Increment, 2 Festival bonus and T&DA as per organization’s policy
