Job Context:
∎ iDE Bangladesh is looking for a qualified Nutrition Specialist for its LDS nutrition part of the Uddokta Project. The Nutrition Specialist will play a critical role in implementing and overseeing the nutrition-focused aspects of the LDSC project. They will work closely with various stakeholders, including community members, Nutrition Sales Agents (NSAs), local market actors, and government officials to improve nutrition status of children who are within their first 2,000 days. The Nutrition Specialist will be responsible for designing and implementing strategies to enhance food systems, increase food security, and raise awareness about essential nutrition actions. S/he will develop technical approaches and means to facilitate access to ?nance for the individual and group-based entrepreneurs. The position holder will also oversee capacity development for the various stakeholders related to nutrition. As per requirement, the Nutrition Specialist will also assist the Project Manager in liaising with partners, associations, CSOs and government counterparts and play a significant role in executing all designing capacity development deliverables for the project.

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 5 years of work experience in implementing nutrition-focused projects, preferably in the context of child nutrition and development.
