Educational Requirements:
∎ Hotel Management Graduate or Culinary Degree with minimum 1-year certification/ College Diploma or equivalent in Culinary School.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 4 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Menu Knowledge: Fast Food/Pizza, Thai/Chinese, Bakery, partially continental.
∎ Arrange a birthday party menu and able to serve 150 ppl minimum.
∎ Maintain multiple branch supply chain including stock management, supplier selection, update on software for stock.
∎ Quality control of all food items and controlling costs.
∎ Maintain hygiene standard of the kitchen as per compliance policy.
∎ Ensure the highest levels of guest satisfaction, quality, operating and food costs on an ongoing basis.
∎ Knowledge of all standard procedures and policies about food preparation, receiving, storage and sanitation.
∎ Ensure effective communication between staff by maintaining a secure and friendly working environment.
∎ Personally responsible for hygiene, safety and correct use of equipment and utensils.
∎ Checks periodically expiry dates and proper storage of food items in the section.
∎ Daily feedback collection and reporting of issues as they arise.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 4 years' experience cooking in a well-established restaurant or full-service hotel.
∎ Knowledge of best and latest cooking practices.
∎ Excellent use of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, tools, and processes.
∎ Excellent culinary catering talent.
Salary: Negotiable
