Requirements:
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Test Planning and Design: Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases. Define testing strategies, including manual and automated testing methods.
∎ Test Execution: Execute functional, regression, performance, and usability testing. Identify, document, and track software defects using bug-tracking tools. Collaborate with developers to ensure timely defect resolution.
∎ Automation: Develop and maintain automated test scripts for efficiency. Evaluate existing automation frameworks and recommend improvements.
∎ Quality Assurance: Conduct root cause analysis of identified issues. Ensure compliance with software quality standards and best practices. Monitor and report on software quality metrics.
∎ Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements. Provide regular updates on testing progress, risks, and issues.
∎ Continuous Improvement: Research and implement new testing tools, techniques, and methodologies. Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in software QA.
