Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science, Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg) in Computer Science
∎ Graduate in computer science or relevant fields. Preferred industry standard certifications (e.g. CEH, CSA, CPT/LPT, CHFI/LFE/CDFE, CCNA CyberOps, RHCA, MCSA)

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ The role requires working in shift schedule (to cover 24/7) after the initial ramp up period.
∎ Execution of SOC procedures, review security logs of systems, applications and network devices for anomalies.
∎ Monitoring and analysis of cyber security events with the use of LogRhythm (SIEM) and other security devices.
∎ Log on boarding in the SIEM
∎ Correlate all reported events from various multiple systems and network areas where potential security incident is identified
∎ Triage security events and incidents, detect anomalies, and report remediation actions.
∎ Ensure completeness of the incident information.
∎ Make recommendations for changes to the environment that can help in the mitigation of vulnerabilities and reduction in the risk of exploitation that may result in potential incidents
∎ Analysis of phishing emails reported by internal end users.
∎ Escalation of incidents to be handled to L2 SOC team, when relevant.
∎ Follow up on remediation activities
∎ Possess advanced analytical skills and strong ability to maintain calmness and being diplomatic under highly stressful situations
∎ Should have capability of Malware analysis.
∎ Provide Incident Response when analysis confirms actionable incident.
∎ Robust/Comprehensive knowledge on infrastructure network, protocols & Linux platform.

∎ Reliability and overall good communication skills.
∎ Well-developed logical thinking capabilities, in order to be able to investigate cases.
