• Minimum 1 year of experience in structural retrofitting works (industrial, RMG, commercial).
• Strong understanding of structural drawings, retrofit detailing, and construction sequences.
• Practical experience with at least some of the following: RCC jacketing, steel bracing/plate bonding, FRP laminates, chemical anchoring.
• Familiar with construction chemical brands (Fosroc, BASF, Sika, RenaFix, or similar).
• Ability to manage workforce and deal with clients confidently.
• Strong reporting and documentation skills.
• Willing to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Site Engineer (Civil) with a minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in structural retrofitting for industrial or commercial projects. The role demands strong technical understanding, field execution capability, and the ability to coordinate with design teams and contractors under tight timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day site activities related to structural retrofitting, including jacketing, FRP works, steel strengthening, and chemical anchoring.

• Verify drawings, BOQs, method statements, and ensure execution strictly matches design and QA/QC standards.

• Monitor and manage subcontractors, masons, and skilled retrofit technicians.

• Ensure correct use and application of construction chemicals (grouts, bonding agents, epoxy, anchors, etc.).

• Check and prepare BBS, measurement sheets, and consumption records of materials.

• Ensure site safety compliance and enforce safety protocols for workers and subcontractors.

• Coordinate with structural consultants, project managers, and client representatives.

• Prepare daily progress reports, manpower reports, and update work status.

• Identify site issues early and propose practical, engineering-sound solutions.

• Manage material handling, storage, and ensure availability of required tools/equipment (core cutter, rebar scanner, hilti/chemical anchoring guns, etc.).

• Support QA/QC inspections and ensure all tests (pull-out test, slump, cube test, etc.) are conducted as per requirements.
