Job Summary/ Context:
The Site Engineer is responsible for follow up and supervise the overall construction works. site engineers play a vital role in the successful execution of construction projects, balancing technical expertise with management skills to ensure that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the required standards. Site engineer will maintain liaise with contractors and others professional and facilitating collaboration among the various stakeholders to ensure the construction works accordingly.
Key Assignments/ Duties:
- Site engineer oversees the daily operation of construction works, and provide technical support to assigned developer/structural company for implement their details work schedule.
- Site Engineer conducting regular site inspections is crucial to ensure daily construction activities and monitor the work environment to identify potential hazard and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Site Engineer to follow up and implement the construction plans according the project design (structural design, master lay out, etc) and guide to construction company for effectively implement the project.
- Site engineer will maintain liaise with contractors and others professional and facilitating collaboration among the various stakeholders to ensure the construction works accordingly.
- Site Engineer are responsible for identifying and arranging the necessary materials, tools, and ensure the quality standards of the all materials and works. This includes managing inventory and ensuring that resources are available when needed.
- Site Engineer will be compiling and maintaining the project documentation is another critical duty. Site Engineer keep records of progress, changes and any issues that arise during the construction works which is vital for project accountability and future reference.
- Site Engineer will help to reduce the costs by analyzing the requirement of construction works and suggesting improvement, this may involve optimizing resources use and implementing cost saving measure.
