Responsibilities & Context:
Job Summary:
Oriental Power is looking for an experienced and technically sound Service Manager to lead our generator servicing and maintenance operations. The ideal candidate will have in-depth experience in engine overhauling, generator servicing, team leadership, and installation activities. The role requires a proactive individual with strong problem-solving skills and leadership qualities.
Key Responsibilities:
Expert in diesel engine overhauling (Perkins, Cummins, Ricardo, etc.)
Perform routine and preventive maintenance of generators.
Diagnose and troubleshoot generator and engine issues.
Lead and manage the service team effectively.
Plan and supervise generator installation and commissioning.
Handle replacement of old or faulty generator units.
Maintain service logs, reports, and warranty documentation.
Provide technical support and after-sales service to clients.
Respond to emergency service calls and ensure timely resolution
Collaborate with sales and procurement for technical support and coordination
