Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Conduct installations of IVD instruments and systems at customer sites, ensuring proper setup and configuration.
∎ Perform system commissioning, including calibration, testing, and validation to meet operational requirements.
∎ Execute preventive maintenance schedules for IVD instruments to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
∎ Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues on-site or remotely, utilizing technical manuals, diagnostic tools, and expertise.
∎ Carry out repairs and replacements of faulty components or parts to restore equipment functionality.
∎ Serve as the primary point of contact for customer service inquiries related to IVD instruments.
∎ Provide timely and effective technical support to address customer concerns and resolve issues.
∎ Conduct training sessions for laboratory staff on routine maintenance procedures to enhance instrument efficiency.
∎ *Documentation and Reporting:*
∎ Maintain accurate records of service activities, including maintenance logs, service reports, and spare parts usage.
∎ Generate service reports detailing work performed, recommendations, and follow-up actions for customers and internal teams.
∎ Collaborate with the Service Manager to ensure service records are up-to-date and in compliance with regulatory standards.
∎ Adhere to company quality standards and procedures in all service activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements (such as FDA, ISO).
∎ Participate in quality audits and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery.
∎ Stay updated on the latest product developments and technical advancements in the IVD industry.
∎ Conduct training sessions for customers on the proper use and maintenance of IVD instruments, sharing best practices and tips.
∎ Provide feedback to the Product Development team based on field observations and customer feedback to improve product reliability and usability.
