Education:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Biomedical Science

∎ Age 22 to 30 years
∎ - Previous experience as a Service Engineer in the IVD or medical device industry is preferred.
∎ - Strong technical skills in troubleshooting and repairing complex instruments and systems.
∎ - Knowledge of IVD technologies and laboratory workflows is advantageous.
∎ - Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers.
∎ - Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment.
∎ - Experience with calibration tools, diagnostic software, and electronic test equipment
∎ .- Willingness to travel to customer sites as required (approximately 50% travel).
∎ - Certifications in relevant areas (e.g., medical equipment repair, electronics) are a plus.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ 1. *Installation and Commissioning:* - Conduct installations of IVD instruments and systems at customer sites, ensuring proper setup and configuration. - Perform system commissioning, including calibration, testing, and validation to meet operational requirements.
∎ 2. *Maintenance and Repairs:* - Execute preventive maintenance schedules for IVD instruments to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance. - Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues on-site or remotely, utilizing technical manuals, diagnostic tools, and expertise. - Carry out repairs and replacements of faulty components or parts to restore equipment functionality.
∎ 3. *Customer Support:* - Serve as the primary point of contact for customer service inquiries related to IVD instruments. - Provide timely and effective technical support to address customer concerns and resolve issues. - Conduct training sessions for laboratory staff on routine maintenance procedures to enhance instrument efficiency.
∎ 4. *Documentation and Reporting:* - Maintain accurate records of service activities, including maintenance logs, service reports, and spare parts usage. - Generate service reports detailing work performed, recommendations, and follow-up actions for customers and internal teams. - Collaborate with the Service Manager to ensure service records are up-to-date and in compliance with regulatory standards.
∎ 5. *Quality Assurance and Compliance:* - Adhere to company quality standards and procedures in all service activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements (such as FDA, ISO). - Participate in quality audits and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery.
∎ 6. *Product Training and Knowledge Sharing:* - Stay updated on the latest product developments and technical advancements in the IVD industry. - Conduct training sessions for customers on the proper use and maintenance of IVD instruments, sharing best practices and tips. - Provide feedback to the Product Development team based on field observations and customer feedback to improve product reliability and usability.
