Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Conduct site assessments and hydrological studies to understand the dynamics of river systems.
∎ Design and implement river bed repair solutions, including bank stabilization, sediment management, and erosion control measures.
∎ Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
∎ Oversee the construction and maintenance of river bed repair projects, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and safety standards.
∎ Collaborate with environmental scientists, geologists, and other engineers to develop integrated solutions.
∎ Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations for stakeholders.
∎ Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and project teams.
∎ Liaise with government agencies, local authorities, and community stakeholders to obtain necessary permits and approvals.
