Experience:

National Skills Certification- Level 2-3 (NSDA/BTEB)
CBT&A Methodology Level 4 (NSDA/BTEB)
Candidates having prior relevant experience will be preferred
Knowledge, Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of smartphone hardware and software systems.
Expertise in troubleshooting and repairing Android and iOS devices.
Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, soldering equipment, and repair instruments.
Understanding of occupational safety standards and workshop management.
Strong facilitation and communication skills.
Ability to work with diverse and low-literacy participants.
Experience in mentoring youth entrepreneurs and small businesses.
Good reporting and documentation skills.

The Senior Technical Trainer-Mobile Phone Servicing will be responsible for delivering competency-based technical training on mobile phone servicing, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair. The trainer will ensure that trainees acquire practical skills, business awareness, and workplace safety knowledge necessary for employment and entrepreneurship opportunities.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conduct competency-based training on mobile phone servicing and repair according to the approved curriculum.
Deliver both theoretical and practical sessions using participatory and hands-on learning methods.
Train participants on smartphone hardware and software troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair techniques.
Ensure trainees develop practical skills in diagnosing and resolving common mobile phone faults.
Review and adapt training materials to ensure relevance to local market demands.
Prepare lesson plans, practical exercises, demonstrations, and assessment tools.
Incorporate workplace safety, environmental considerations, and customer service practices into training sessions.
Ensure the safety and wellbeing of the team, preventing harm, abuse, neglect, and exploitation
Act as a key resource for the safeguarding policy implementation and ensure team members follow safeguarding procedures
Safeguarding
Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme`s goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
