Responsibilities & Context:

Job Context

Looking for a smart, focused, and an experienced educational counsellor for the STUDENT Counselling who will provide accurate information to the students and complete guidance during the whole process of the UK and Australia higher education.

Job Location: Globex Education Office, Dhanmondi, Dhaka

Job Responsibilities

Student Counseling & Guidance

  • Understand student goals, budget, academic background, and English level

  • Suggest suitable UK universities and courses

  • Explain intakes (Jan, May, Sep), tuition fees, scholarships, and deadlines

  • Guide on living costs, part-time work, and career opportunities

  • Help choose the right course based on future career, not just admission chance

Lead Handling & Conversion

  • Call fresh leads from Facebook/website/CRM

  • Conduct counseling sessions (online + offline)

  • Follow up regularly via call/WhatsApp/email

  • Build trust and convert inquiries into paid applicants

  • Maintain daily follow-up logs in CRM

Offer & Admission Management

  • Explain:

o Conditional vs unconditional offers

o Deposit requirements

o CAS process

o Help students pay tuition deposits

o Confirm enrolment

o Coordinate with university admission teams

Visa Support (UKVI Compliance)

  • Guide on:

o Bank statement/financial documents

o Sponsor documents

o TB test

o Health surcharge (IHS)

o Prepare visa file checklist

o Conduct mock visa interviews

o Fill UK student visa (Tier 4/Student Route) application

o Book a biometrics/VFS appointment

o Update CRM daily

o Maintain student pipeline

o Weekly/monthly conversion reports

o Coordinate with marketing team for leads

o Maintain compliance and documentation accuracy

Relationship Building

  • Stay connected with:

o University representatives

o Admission officers

o Alumni students

o Join education fairs/webinars

o Collect student success stories for marketing
