Position Overview
Hotel Grand Park Barishal is seeking a dynamic, innovative, and highly strategic General Manager – Sales & Marketing to lead all Sales, Branding, and Digital Marketing functions. The role requires a forward-thinking leader who understands hospitality trends, customer behaviour, and digital ecosystems. You will drive overall revenue growth, strengthen market positioning, and manage a high-performing marketing team to elevate HGPB’s brand across all traditional and digital channels.
Lead and execute HGPB’s full Sales & Marketing strategy across offline and digital channels.
Oversee Digital Marketing functions including SEO, SEM, Social Media, Content, PPC, Email Campaigns, Mobile Marketing, and Analytics.
Ensure consistent brand identity and messaging across all platforms.
Develop a strong content and editorial calendar for targeted customer engagement.
Analyze performance metrics and optimize marketing campaigns to maximize ROI.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
Develop and implement annual Sales & Marketing plans aligned with revenue goals and KPIs.
Analyze existing and emerging markets to identify new business opportunities.
Manage key corporate accounts and build long-term customer relationships.
Conduct site inspections, familiarization trips, and client engagement activities.
Collaborate with Operations, F&B, and other departments on pricing and promotional strategies.
Ensure effective in-house promotional materials and hotel branding assets.
Oversee content creation for social media, websites, email marketing, and digital campaigns.
Monitor and adapt to the latest digital and social media trends for competitive advantage.
Conduct audience and consumer behaviour analysis to refine marketing strategies.
Optimize SEO/SEM performance and improve digital visibility across platforms.
Manage digital marketing budgets, performance reports, analytics, ROI tracking, and KPIs.
Lead campaign planning, execution, A/B testing, and post-campaign analysis.
Contribute to achieving targeted revenue goals across:
Rooms Revenue: RPAR +20%, ADR +20%, ARR +20%
F&B Revenue: ACP +25%, Incremental Revenue +25%, Contribution Margin +25%
Minor Operating Departments: +25% improvement
Track and record client correspondence, proposals, quotations, and contracts.
Provide weekly Sales & Marketing performance reports to Management.
Lead, mentor, and develop the Sales & Marketing team through coaching, guidance, and performance monitoring.
Conduct weekly team meetings and monitor individual KPI achievements.
Foster strong interdepartmental communication and teamwork.
