Guest Experience & Quality of Service:
Ensure that every guest visit is memorable, seamless and aligned with the brand promise.
Lead and supervise departmental managers (F&B, front-of-house, bays, entertainment, and maintenance) to deliver high service levels.
Monitor guest feedback (surveys, reviews, and social media) and drive continuous improvement.
Ensure venue ambience (lighting, sound, cleanliness, and facility condition) meets brand and safety standards.
Team Leadership & Culture:
Coach, mentor and develop direct reports (department heads) and wider team.
Foster inclusive, engaged, high-performing environment where Playmakers feel valued, empowered and aligned to venue culture.
Serve as a role model of brand values, operational discipline, guest-centric mind-set and team orientation.
Operational Performance & Financial Management:
Oversee daily operations, scheduling, throughput of bays, F&B service, events, entertainment programming.
Manage budgetary controls: labour cost, cost of goods sold (COGS) for F&B, maintenance expense, utilities, vendor contracts.
set, track and deliver key performance indicators (KPIs) such as revenue per bay, guest turnover, average spend, labour efficiency, guest satisfaction, safety incidents.
Identify opportunities for revenue growth (e.g., events, group bookings, F&B promotions) and cost optimisation. Facility & Equipment Management, Safety & Compliance
Ensure venue, equipment (e.g., game bays and technology systems), building services and guest areas are maintained in safe, operational condition.
Ensure compliance with local regulations (health & safety, fire, food hygiene, labour laws) and internal brand standards.
Partner with facilities/maintenance department to schedule preventive maintenance, manage vendor relationships, minimise downtime.
Operational Planning & Execution
Develop and implement operational plans: opening/closing procedures, shift handovers, staffing plans for peak periods, event days.
Ensure standard operating procedures (SOPs) are in place, updated and adhered to for guest flow, F&B service, cleaning, emergencies.
Analyse operational data, identify trends/issues and implement corrective actions.
Customer & Stakeholder Engagement
Build relationships with key guests, corporate clients, event planners, local community groups to promote venue usage.
Work with marketing & sales to coordinate promotions, special events, group bookings and ensure operational readiness.
Represent the venue internally (with senior leadership) and externally (vendors, regulatory bodies, community) as needed.
