1. Daily Operational Oversight
Department Coordination: Act as the bridge between departments to ensure a "one-team" approach to guest service.
Property Inspections: Conduct daily walkthroughs of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house to ensure five-star standards of cleanliness and maintenance.
Problem Resolution: Serve as the final point of escalation for guest complaints, turning "detractors" into loyal "promoters."
2. Financial & Resource Management
P&L Management: Monitor departmental expenses, labor costs, and procurement to hit EBITDA targets.
Inventory Control: Oversee supply chains for linens, F&B stock, and amenities to prevent waste or shortages.
Revenue Optimization: Work with the Sales/Revenue team to maximize RevPAR (Revenue Per Available Room) during peak and off-peak seasons.
3. Team Leadership & Culture
Staff Development: Recruit, train, and mentor department heads.
Scheduling: Ensure optimal staffing levels based on occupancy forecasts to balance service quality and labor costs.
Safety & Compliance: Ensure the resort adheres to all health, safety, and labor regulations.
4. Guest Experience & Programming
Activity Management: Overlook the execution of resort activities (spa, excursions, kids' clubs, and events).
Brand Standards: Ensure every touchpoint reflects the resort’s specific brand identity and luxury standards.
