Education:

• Master of Social Science (MSS) in Statistics, Economics
• Masters degree in any discipline

Skills Required: Development Research,Kobo Scripting,Nvivo,Report Writing,Research and Consulting Firms,Social research,SPSS;,STATA

Additional Requirements:

• Age At least 34 years

• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in social research field.
• Language: - Fluency in English (Excellent writing skill is essential).
• Computer Proficiency: - MS word English and Bangla, MS-Excel.
• SPSS/ STATA, KoBO and knowledge on qualitative software (AtlasTi/ NVivo etc.) will be an asset.
• Other Desirable: Adequate seniority and with good working knowledge of the Bangladesh context, ideally with a focus on Gender, women empowerment, Health, WASH, livelihoods etc. Ability and willingness to go to field;
• Good writing and analytical skills; Ability to liaise with different stakeholders, at different levels;
• Energetic, proactive, and well-organized individual;
• Ability to work independently (under supervision) and in team;
• Professional, reliable and impartial observer to ensure the least possible level of bias in the data collected

Responsibilities & Context:

DevResonance Ltd. has expertise in social research, programme evaluations, impact assessments, baseline survey, policy research in social development sectors. It brings in the unique strength of doing by itself and supporting variety of national and international organisations, authorities and departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Secondary documents / literature review

• Participate in qualitative (FGD, / KII) data collection and quality assurance of quantitative survey.

• Transcribe and translate the data into English;

• Survey design and develop data collection tools using KoBo or other statistical data collection platform

• Prepare tabulation plan, data analysis and table interpretations.

• Compilation of qualitative information and report drafting.
