The Research & Advisory team undertakes research, consulting, and advisory assignments from project inception through final delivery. We are looking for a Research Associate who can contribute to high-quality research, analytical assignments, client engagements, and business development initiatives.

Core Responsibilities

The Research Associate will play a critical role in managing research, consulting, and advisory assignments from project inception through delivery. The position requires strong analytical capabilities, project management skills, and the ability to engage effectively with clients and stakeholders. The incumbent will contribute to proposal development, lead research activities, generate actionable insights, and support business growth initiatives while maintaining high standards of quality and professional excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the development of research frameworks, study methodologies, project proposals, concept notes, and technical documents.

• Contribute to the design of quantitative and qualitative research tools, sampling strategies, and analytical frameworks.

• Assist in identifying business opportunities and developing client-focused solutions.

• Manage and oversee primary and secondary research activities.

• Coordinate fieldwork, data collection, and stakeholder consultations across project locations.

• Ensure adherence to project timelines, quality standards, and client requirements.

• Supervise and mentor Research Associates, Enumerators, and field teams when required.

• Analyze complex quantitative and qualitative datasets using appropriate analytical tools and techniques.

• Synthesize findings into meaningful insights, strategic recommendations, and evidence-based conclusions.

• Conduct market assessments, sector analyses, policy reviews, and competitive landscape studies.

• Prepare high-quality reports, research publications, policy briefs, presentations, and client deliverables.

• Translate research findings into clear, concise, and actionable recommendations for clients and stakeholders.

• Ensure quality assurance and consistency of project outputs.

• Maintain professional communication with clients, development partners, government agencies, and private-sector stakeholders.

• Participate in client presentations, workshops, validation meetings, and dissemination events.

• Support relationship management and contribute to client satisfaction and retention.

• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to achieve project objectives.

• Provide technical guidance and coaching to junior team members.

• Contribute to organizational learning, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
