Educational Requirements:
∎ The candidate must have MBBS (preferably from govt. medical colleges) + MPH (preferably full-time course); qualification on field epidemiology (e.g., short courses offered by IEDCR, icddr,b) will be an added advantage.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Work areas to be covered:Public health, Health systems, universal health coverage and health security, 'prepare-detect-respond' for infectious disease outbreaks and containment of AMR, health sector corruption, informal sector providers and drug shops.
∎ Conduct literature review; develop proposals, write reports/executive summaries/policy briefs/manuscripts independently or with help from the supervisor.
∎ Develop and pilot data collections tools and finalise with the supervisor.
∎ Recruitment, training, deployment and supervision of Research Assistants and data collectors.
∎ Organise, coordinate and supervise field data collection activities including data collection by self.
∎ Ensure quality of data collected; data management using tabs
∎ Analysis of data using relevant software e.g., SPSS or Stata; preparation of 2X2 and 2X3 tables and significance tests; interpretation of data.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Candidates should have at least two years experience in Quantitative research and use of relevant tools for analysis of data; use of community engagement/vulnerability assessment tools for infectious disease outbreaks; experience of work in disaster/refugee situations; and experience in organizing research dissemination events.
∎ The applicant must have sound knowledge and experience in writing reports (in English) independently or under minimum supervision(samples to be attached); publication in peer reviewed journal will be an added advantage
∎ Strong interpersonal skills and able to work with teams.
