We are seeking a qualified and experienced professional to join our research team as a Senior Economist.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct economic research, policy analysis, and development studies on key national and regional issues.

• Analyze economic trends, public policies, labor markets, trade, investment, poverty, and development challenges.

• Develop economic models, forecasts, and analytical frameworks to support research initiatives.

• Prepare policy briefs, research reports, working papers, and academic publications.

• Collect, manage, and analyze quantitative and qualitative data from various sources.

• Support the design and implementation of research projects, surveys, and impact assessments.

• Present research findings and policy recommendations to policymakers, development partners, academia, and other stakeholders.

• Contribute to proposal writing, donor-funded projects, and institutional research initiatives.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality research outputs.

• Monitor economic developments and provide evidence-based insights to support policymaking.

Educational Requirements

• Master's Degree or PhD in Economics from a recognized university.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in economic research, policy analysis, development research, academia, consulting, or related fields.

Additional Requirements

• Strong analytical, quantitative, and econometric skills.

• Experience in economic modeling, forecasting, and statistical analysis.

• Proficiency in research and data analysis software such as STATA, SPSS, R, Python, EViews, or similar tools.

• Excellent report writing, research documentation, and presentation skills.

• Strong understanding of economic policy, development economics, and socio-economic issues.

• Ability to translate complex research findings into practical policy recommendations.

• Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.

• Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
