Responsibilities
1. Develop and implement CSER’s long-term strategic vision and institutional objectives.
2. Lead and oversee all research, policy, operational, and administrative functions of the organization.
3. Position CSER as a leading policy and economic research institution nationally and internationally.
4. Build and maintain strategic relationships with government agencies, development partners, academia, and private sector stakeholders.
5. Oversee the quality, impact, and relevance of research outputs and policy recommendations.
6. Lead institutional fundraising, donor engagement, and grant acquisition activities.
7. Ensure effective financial management, governance, compliance, and organizational sustainability.
8. Represent CSER at national and international conferences, policy dialogues, seminars, and media engagements.
9. Mentor senior management and research teams to foster a high-performance organizational culture.
10. Promote innovation, ethical standards, transparency, and collaboration across the organization.
11. Ensure efficient resource allocation and organizational risk management.
12. Oversee stakeholder communications and strengthen CSER’s public reputation and visibility.
Education Requirements:
Master’s degree or PhD in Economics, Public Policy, Development Studies, Business Administration, or a related field.
Work Experience:
Minimum 20+ years of experience in senior leadership roles, preferably in economic research, public policy, development organizations, think tanks, or related sectors.
